3D Printing Solutions

Custom parts are often the key to achieving a clean, functional, and professional installation. At Sea and Land Yacht Works, we use advances 3D printing to design and manufacture custom components that improve fit, finish, and overall system integration onboard.

Whether supporting an electronics install, fabricating a one-off component, or recreating a discontinued part, our goal is to deliver solutions that look and perform like they came from the factory.

Custom Fabrication for OEM-Level Installations

We design and produce custom parts that allow installations to look clean, intentional, and fully integrated. This includes brackets, housings, mounts, spacers, trim pieces, and other components that are often not available off the shelf.

By creating parts specific to your vessel and equipment, we are able to eliminate gaps, exposed wiring, and makeshift solutions, resulting in a more refined and professional end result.

Replacement of Rare or Discontinued Parts

For older vessels or specialty equipment, replacement parts are not always available. We are able to design and reproduce components that are no longer manufactured, restoring functionality while maintaining the original look and fit where possible.

Custom Parts Designed for Bespoke Applications

Not every problem has an off-the-shelf solution, especially on boats. At Sea & Land Yacht Works, we design and produce custom 3D printed parts tailored to your exact application. Using in-house CAD, we create components that fit your space, your equipment, and your environment, whether that’s plumbing adapters, electronics mounting brackets, dash components, cable management solutions, or one-off structural parts. We don’t just print parts, we engineer them by selecting the right material, strength, and design approach to ensure they perform reliably in marine conditions.

Material Selection for Marine Environments

Not all 3D printed parts are created equal. We select materials based on the specific application, environment, and performance requirements of each part.

Our material capabilities include:

  • PETG for general-purpose durability and moisture resistance

  • ASA for UV resistance and exterior applications

  • Nylon for strength and wear resistance

  • PLA for interior decorative fittings using filaments infused with bronze or wood flour

  • Carbon fiber-infused PPA & PPS for high strength, high temperature, and rigidity

  • TPU for flexible components, gaskets, and vibration isolation

Each material is chosen to ensure long-term performance in the marine environment.

Material Selection Guide

This guide to marine 3D printing materials compares ASA, PETG, TPU, PPS, nylon, and reinforced filaments. Learn how to choose the right material based on strength, UV resistance, flexibility, and real-world boat applications.

Design & Integration

All parts are designed with both function and installation in mind. We consider load, exposure, mounting method, and surrounding systems to ensure each component performs as intended without creating future service issues.

3D printing is often used alongside our electrical, electronics, and fabrication work to create fully integrated solutions that would otherwise not be possible with off-the-shelf components.
