Since the beginning, Sea & Land Yacht Works has been a one stop shop for many of our clients. Not only can we ensure that your boat undergoes the proper yearly maintenance requirements, but with our team of certified marine technicians, we are on the lookout for additional issues that may arise and prevent you from fully enjoying the short boating season here in New England.
2026 Winterization Pricing (per engine, plus materials):
2-stroke outboards: $185 to $520 depending on horsepower
4-stroke outboards: $225 to $720 depending on horsepower
Gas inboard / sterndrive: $440 (4-cyl), $525 (6-cyl), $615 (V8)
Diesel inboard: $525 (4-cyl), $655 (6-cyl), $790 (8-cyl or twin turbo)
Generator: $395. Outdrive gear oil: $150 per drive
Freshwater system: $245 (first tank), $95 each additional tank
Heads: $95 each. Hot water heater: $195. A/C and heat units: $195 each
Raw water washdown: $95. Baitwells: $90 each. Holding tank: $150
Bilge and sump pumps: $150 flat. Watermaker: $495
Lithium battery winter service: $175 per bank
Shrink wrap at our South Kingstown shop: $30/ft up to 25 ft, $33/ft 26 to 35 ft, $36/ft 36 to 45 ft, over 45 ft quoted
Mobile service travel: $100 (0 to 5 mi), $175 (5 to 15 mi), $205 (15 to 25 mi), $265 (25 to 30 mi), plus a 2 hour minimum
A deposit of 100% of materials and 50% of labor is collected before scheduling.

How much does boat winterization cost in 2026?
Prices are per engine plus materials. Outboards run $185 to $720 depending on stroke and horsepower, gas inboards and sterndrives $440 to $615, and diesel inboards $525 to $790. Itemized pricing for generators, freshwater systems, heads, A/C and more is listed above.
Do you charge to travel to my boat?
Yes, for mobile service: $100 for 0 to 5 miles, $175 for 5 to 15 miles, $205 for 15 to 25 miles and $265 for 25 to 30 miles, with a 2 hour minimum. We also work in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Long Island; contact us for travel pricing beyond 30 miles.
How much is shrink wrap?
At our South Kingstown shop, shrink wrap is $30 per foot up to 25 feet, $33 per foot for 26 to 35 feet and $36 per foot for 36 to 45 feet. Boats over 45 feet are quoted individually.
How do I sign up for winterization?
